What is heart -
before explain the meaning we can check the situation where we commonly use the
heart in our common life. Such examples are - Soft heart man, Hard heart man,
it touches my heart Or You have taken my heart. What is it and we can say all
our emotions and our feeling are kept in some place and that place we can refer
as Heart - might be you will get some different definition and definitely I am
considering the same . But rather than going to get proper definition it would be a
worth to explain the behavior of heart .
According to modern
science - Brain is the central part of our body and its having the
responsibility to control all our reasoning skill which should be controlled by Amygdala, Cortex and
nonCOrtex, But as per the Quran - Heart
is the central part of human body to control all our emotions and other
feelings. Also as per the study from John and Beatrice Lacey in 1970 - Brain
sent messages to heart would obey the message.But some time Heart did not automatically obey the message instead it sped up while at other time heart slow down the message. This indicates that heart has its own intelligent to control / address the message.
As you know some
people are doing the Crime and they will get the punishment. In fact when
someone commits a crime that time itself
he does punish his own heart and that will directly / Indirectly effect whole human being. Quran refers a
Kufr and its like covering. And the people who commits the crime apparently
cover their heart with Alcohol , Drugs
and sex. But still they are not getting any calm heart and use more drugs, sex
to cover their heart. It meant they are
not getting a chance to nourish their mind. Also if we are concentrating in
this material world an if you are not accountable of your action and then it
treats badly your heart will cause the spiritual death of the heart. Before the
death of the heart it shows the symptom of affliction. But if you target the
infinite world then your mind should be calm and quite. Quran says - you will
get calm heart only with the remembrance of the god.
